At Foodstory, we take great care in sourcing, packing, and delivering food products of consistent quality. Due to the nature of food items, our return and refund policy is designed to ensure safety, hygiene, and fairness.


1. Eligibility for Returns

We accept returns only in the following cases:

  • The product was damaged during transit
  • The product delivered was incorrect
  • The product was expired or near expiry at the time of delivery
  • The package was tampered with or leaking on arrival

Note: For food safety and hygiene reasons, we do not accept returns for opened, consumed, or partially used food products, unless the issue falls under the above categories.


2. Timeframe to Report an Issue

  • Any return or refund request must be raised within 48 hours of delivery
  • Requests made after this period may not be eligible for review

3. How to Request a Return or Refund

To initiate a request, please email us at support@foodstory.world with the following details:

  • Order ID
  • Product name
  • Clear photos or videos showing the issue
  • A brief description of the concern

Our team will review the request and respond within 2–3 working days.


4. Inspection & Approval

  • All return and refund requests are subject to verification
  • Foodstory reserves the right to request additional information if required
  • Once approved, we will inform you about the next steps

5. Refund Method & Timeline

  • Approved refunds will be processed to the original mode of payment
  • Refunds are typically completed within 5–7 working days after approval
  • Shipping charges (if any) are non-refundable, unless the issue was caused by us

6. Replacement Policy

Where applicable, we may offer a replacement instead of a refund at no additional cost.


7. Order Cancellation Policy

  • Orders can be cancelled before they are dispatched
  • Once the order has been shipped, cancellation requests will not be accepted
  • To cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible at support@foodstory.world

8. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are non-returnable:

  • Opened or used food products
  • Products damaged due to improper storage after delivery
  • Items returned without original packaging
  • Orders placed with incorrect address details provided by the customer
