REFUND, RETURN & CANCELLATION POLICY

Mahaswaad Global Foods Private Limited (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), operating through its brands Foodstory is committed to delivering quality products. Due to the perishable and consumable nature of food products, our Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy is designed to ensure product safety, hygiene, and customer satisfaction.
- ELIGIBILITY FOR RETURNS OR REFUNDS
Returns, replacements, or refunds may be considered only in the following circumstances:
• Product received is damaged during transit.
• Product delivered is different from the item ordered.
• Product received is expired at the time of delivery.
• Package received is tampered, leaking, or substantially damaged.
• Product received is missing from the order.
For food safety and hygiene reasons, returns will not be accepted for products that have been opened, consumed, partially used, or improperly stored after delivery, except where the issue is attributable to us.
- REPORTING AN ISSUE
Any request for a return, replacement, or refund must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery.
Requests submitted after 48 hours may not be eligible for review or approval.
Customers should retain the product, packaging, invoice, and delivery details until the claim is resolved.

Incomplete requests may result in delays in processing.
- REVIEW AND APPROVAL PROCESS
All requests are subject to verification and approval by our customer support team.
We reserve the right to:
• Request additional photographs, videos, or information.
• Conduct further verification where necessary.
• Reject claims that do not comply with this Policy.
Our decision regarding eligibility for refund, replacement, or return shall be final.
- REFUND PROCESS
Upon approval:
• Refunds shall be processed to the original mode of payment used during purchase.
• Refund processing may take 5–10 business days depending on banking and payment gateway timelines.
• Any applicable shipping charges shall generally not be refunded unless the issue arose due to our error.
- REPLACEMENT POLICY
Where feasible, we may offer a replacement product instead of a refund.
Replacement orders shall be shipped without additional charges to the customer.
The Company reserves the right to determine whether a refund or replacement is the most appropriate resolution.
- ORDER CANCELLATION POLICY
Customers may request cancellation of an order before it has been dispatched from our warehouse.
Once an order has been packed, processed, or shipped, cancellation requests may not be accepted.
Where cancellation is approved prior to dispatch, a full refund shall be processed to the original payment method.
- NON-RETURNABLE AND NON-REFUNDABLE ITEMS
The following products are not eligible for return, replacement, or refund unless damaged or incorrectly supplied:
• Opened food products
• Used or partially consumed products
• Products damaged due to improper storage after delivery
• Products without original packaging
• Products purchased during special clearance or liquidation sales
• Orders delivered successfully to the address provided by the customer
• Orders placed using incorrect shipping information provided by the customer
- NATURAL VARIATIONS IN FOOD PRODUCTS
Many of our products are natural agricultural products including honey, dry fruits, millets, grains, spices, pulses, specialty rice, natural sweeteners, and similar food items.
Variations in:
• Colour
• Taste
• Aroma
• Texture
• Size
• Shape
• Moisture content
• Natural crystallization (especially in honey)
are normal characteristics of natural products and shall not be treated as defects for return or refund purposes.
- FAILED DELIVERY ATTEMPTS
If delivery cannot be completed due to:
• Incorrect address provided by the customer
• Customer unavailability
• Refusal to accept delivery
the Company reserves the right to deduct applicable shipping, handling, and return logistics costs before processing any eligible refund.
- LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Our liability under this Policy shall be limited to the purchase value of the affected product(s).
Under no circumstances shall Mahaswaad Global Foods Private Limited be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from product use, delayed delivery, or refund processing.
- POLICY MODIFICATIONS
We reserve the right to modify, update, or amend this Policy at any time without prior notice.
Any changes shall become effective immediately upon publication on the Website.
